You have to perform things you wouldn’t otherwise imagine. However, a successful choice in Love-Game is unattainable. Also, to unlock the good ending, you’re expected to replay the game in real-time visual novel style (LoveChoice offers you handy chapter headings if you don’t want to do the whole thing). Love-Game doesn’t reveal this completely in red when you write a piece. You sent a letter by the girl at the end of this ten-minute story, and she writes sometimes in green, while others in red, at the same time. It’s quite easy to waltz through Love-Game without even knowing what it wants from you. We wanted to jump our main character up the edge and tell him to sort out his sleazy life when the main character also trawls her Twitter feed for her dislikes and then presents them as his idea for a date. They seem to have a good approach, but they both felt irritated. She approaches you with a problem at work, and you have two options: either shift the blame on her or minimize the problem, implying she’s overthinking it. You are inundated with a series of strange encounters and will allow you to gaze at the girl. However, more than ever, the writing has a culture-shock. Love-Game is surrounded by translation problems where the other users are less impacted (LoveChoice is created by the Japanese Akaba Studio), making it a stop-start experience. There’s a time-jump and you’re viewing the relationship develop or unravel, based on your choices. It tells the story of a young boy who encounters a girl at a Game Jam, asks her out, and then defines the ideal setting and food for a date according to the ethereal details he knows about her. Love-Game is the one that most people will play first, simply because it’s on the left-hand side of the three. Love-Game is less accomplished than Love-Distance, which is less accomplished than Love-Detective. It’s either that, or they’re made by a designer who greatly improved after the fabrication of each one. These three games are endless enough to make you wonder whether different teams created them. Which one to play first is the very first choice you make. These are three stories centered on choice, and how one moment may change the future years of a relationship, split into Love-Game, Love-Distance, and Love-Detective. is less a visual novel than an anthology of three of them.
